Did your upline tell you that you should send 20 invitations a day when you joined? Do you have company trainings to teach you how to cold prospects people?
You joined a company on the hope of earning a side income to help your family financially and so that you could enjoy more quality time with them, and you end up spending all day stuck on your phone sending DMs. Sending DMs seems creepy & icky to you and you get so turned off by them when they are sent to you, but your upline tells you that if you want to succeed you need to send DM to the entire earth to be able to catch some people.
Or maybe you’ve been in the business for a while and you have a nice team, but you think you still need to send those cold invites and you find there is not enough time in the day to do this and take care of you customers + helping your team succeed.
Well, there’s good news: growing your network marketing business doesn’t have to be that awkward and time consuming. With the right strategy and tools at your disposal, you could easily build a profitable business — all without cold prospecting, sending messages to strangers and follow ups that never end.
Let’s start with Why you SHOULDN’T send invites on social media.
Reason N.1 it’s simply not effective anymore.
It used to work a few years ago, when social media was still new. People didn’t know how to use it correctly and marketing your business online was ok because there were not many people doing it. But if you look at social media and online businesses today, it’s filled with entrepreneurs marketing their products. You just don’t want to be one among the many who make people feel they are being sold to.
Reason N.2 : the people you invite usually won’t stay in your team for a long time.
Chances are the people who will join you will do so thinking it’s a get rich quick opportunity and of course it’s not. So you will spend your time training people who are not educated on Network Marketing and who will probably quit. So it will be a loss of time on both parts.
So how do you stand out from the crow and build a sustainable business that you feel good about?
Well, you need to know that people want to educate themselves before making a buying decision. So you just need to create the right content to educate your audience about what you have to offer. Naturally, the people who will follow you and engage with your content will be your best prospects.
By creating valuable content for your audience, you become an industry thought leader.
